The monsoon brings with it many adventures in Maharashtra, and the Kataldhar waterfall is one that you won’t forget!
During the summer, this waterfall dries up, but as the land turns green around, the flow of this fall thunders down over the rocks, filling the air around you with a fine spray. While Lonavala has many trekking destinations, Kataldhar is its hidden gem. “Katal” means the wall of Rock & “Dhar” means a Water stream. The shape of the wall is like a horseshoe.
Kataldhar waterfall has a breath-taking view. After reaching Kataldhar Waterfall you will see eye shaped cave where 50-60 people easily accommodate that cave. From this cave, you will see Rajmachi Fort (Shrivardhan Fort Balekilla).
Apart from the routine places “Kataldhar Waterfall Trek” gives us the immense pleasure of Trekking, but it is however recommended to take this trek with expert guides, as it’s extremely easy to lose your way through these forests.

I have trekked with lots of groups from Delhi to Manali. However, I can say this is the best trekkers group among those. All coordinators are very experienced, cooperative and friendly. Guys keep doing well. Trekkers like me have a good way to explore new places with you without caring about anything else.
