Why rush for 5 forts in 2 days?

Salher-Salota-Mulher-Mora-Hargad

Every fort has a beautiful story to share.. but one needs to be patient enough to explore that story through each and every fortification. The most common mistake I have observed is people rush too much to visit Salher, Salota, Mulher, Mora and Hargad in 2 days. It’s not a marathon.. whenever you visit any fort you must visit its every corner, understand the geography, experience the mesmerizing sunrise and sunset. This way you will get well connected with the fort and not just visit it.

Especially when it comes to rich forts like Salher and Salota which offers a great view of endless territory, the highest fort in Sahyadri, a place which has experienced the biggest war between Marathas and Mughals. So, Why to rush?? Don’t just visit the fort, create your special bond with it.
