Dreamy landscapes, thrilling crossings, and a magical high-altitude lake — the Hampta Pass trek deserves a spot on every trekker’s list.
The journey begins with an early arrival in Manali, followed by a 2-hour drive to Jobra, the starting point of the trek. From Jobra, a short 2 km trek through pine forests and meadows leads to Chika, the first campsite. The trail is easy and scenic, ideal for acclimatization.

On the second day, the trail continues along the Rani Nallah, passing through open meadows, rocky terrain, and stream crossings. The 5 km trek offers beautiful views of the surrounding peaks and wildflowers. The day ends at Balu Ka Ghera, a wide, flat ground surrounded by mountains.

A buffer day is kept to accommodate possible delays due to weather or road conditions. If unused, it can be spent resting or exploring Manali before the return journey home.
