Trip Booking Process

Participants are assumed physically and mentally fit for the activity and choice of participation in activities organized by SG-Trekkers, is solely taken by them without any influence from others.
Participants suffering from any medical disorders, illnesses should inform to SG-Trekkers in advance before registering for the activity.
Booking for all activities will be done on a first-come-first-served basis.
A phone confirmation before making the payment is recommended to understand the facts about the activity and help participants to make decisions.
The participant needs to deposit a minimum of 50% of the activity fees amount at the time of registration. The remaining amount should be deposited 15 days prior to the departure else the booking is liable to be cancelled with no refund. Payments can be made through Bank Transfer & Mobile Banking only.
Registrations can only be confirmed after receipt of the booking amount as per the activity registration process.
SG-Trekkers reserve all rights of admission for any type of activity announced by SG-Trekkers. Also, to restrict or cancel the admission of an individual or a group.
SG-Trekkers reserve all rights to modify/change the venue/dates/itinerary or cancel the activity if any unforeseen problem arises or if the management thinks so. SG-Trekkers will not be liable to refund booking charges in such a case.
Any incidental/additional expenses incurred during any type of activity shall be borne by the concerned participants.

Railway Booking
It is not possible for SG-Trekkers to ensure that the Group/Participants will get railway reservations (reserved for Participants on their behalf) together or in the same compartment because of random seat allotment by IRCTC Computerised System.

Medical Disclaimer

It is most essential to be fit and fine before heading for any activity.
While planning your trip, it is preferable to have a medical fitness check-up done.
If suffering from any kind of allergy or ailment, do carry proper prescribed medicines to prevent serious health problems including heatstroke, severe headache, cough, dehydration, and hypothermia.
Participants suffering from chronic conditions like asthma, bronchitis, blood pressure, migraine, diabetes, etc. should seek their physician’s advice before coming.
You are joining an outdoor activity where any incident (reasons beyond control like Natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure, etc.) can happen & you agree that the organizer shall not be held responsible for any accident, mishap (including death) caused by any circumstances.

Payment does not automatically ensure entry to the activity. Before transferring the amount, kindly confirm with SG-Trekkers for the availability of seats.
If the amount is transferred without consulting, the registration will not be considered.
Registration is only confirmed for the participant who makes the payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify SG-Trekkers in writing. Once SG-Trekkers receives your notice, the cancellation will take effect subject to the following:

Booking after cancellation will be treated as a fresh booking for all-purpose.
The tour price is quoted as a package. No partial refunds or credit will be given for services not used. Any amount forfeited, which has not then been paid to SG-Trekkers by you, may be recovered from you by SG-Trekkers as a debt due and payable.
In case of tour cancellation by SG-Trekkers under any controllable or beyond circumstances, SG-Trekkers reserves the right to decide the refund amount for each participant.
In case of cancellation of a booking after paying the advance payment, cancellation charges will be applied to the entire trek/tour amount.
You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses, or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation.
SG-Trekkers reserves the right of cancellation or refund for participation in any tour organized by SG-Trekkers.

Refund Policy

Refunds if any, for modification / amendments / transfer / cancellations of any tour shall be paid directly to the guest by 'A/C payee' cheque or Bank Transfer, in Indian Rupees.
All refunds will be processed within 15 working days of the request receives.

No refund shall be payable:
For any missed / unused services of the tour including the meals due to whatsoever reason.
Where full deposit is required to be paid in advance to the concerned authorities of SG-Trekkers to confirm the reservation.
If services of the tour are modified, varied, amended, cancelled, or not utilized.
If any guest decides and/or is required to cancel the tour due to any changes made in the rules by the concerned Government.
If the tour is indefinitely postponed / cancelled due to natural calamity, riots, political calamities or any other unforeseen calamities.

Jurisdiction

This agreement and the rights and obligations of the parties will be construed and take effect in accordance with and be governed by the laws of India.
