DAY 01, SAT
Arrival in Kathmandu (4,590 ft.)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you can explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, a popular tourist district known for its shops, restaurants, and cultural sites.

DAY 02, SUN
Worship at Pashupatinath Temple & Drive to Ramechhap (4,000 ft.)

Begin the day with a visit to the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Spend time offering prayers and soaking in the serene spiritual atmosphere. Explore the temple’s intricate architecture and location along the sacred Bagmati River.

You will depart for Ramechhap in a private vehicle. The drive takes approximately 4–5 hours and passes through scenic countryside roads, terraced fields, and small villages.

Upon arrival in Ramechhap, check into a local guesthouse. Relax and prepare for the flight to Lukla the next morning.

DAY 03, MON
Flight to Lukla (9,320 ft.) & Trek to Phakding (8,560 ft.)

Early in the morning, board a short 20-minute flight from Ramechhap to Lukla, offering stunning aerial views of the Himalayan range.

Upon arrival in Lukla, commence a 3 to 4-hour trek to Phakding. The trail descends through pine forests, passing traditional Sherpa villages and crossing several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River.

DAY 04, TUE
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (11,285 ft.)

The trail continues along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing multiple suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. You’ll pass through the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, where permits are checked. The final ascent to Namche Bazaar is steep but rewarding, with glimpses of Everest and Lhotse.

Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

To aid acclimatization, take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel, which offers panoramic vistas of Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and the Namche Bazaar market, the heart of the Khumbu region.

DAY 06, THU
Trek from Namche Bazaar to Deboche (12,535 ft.) via Tengboche Monastery

The trail offers a mix of ascents and descents, with breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Ama Dablam. En route, visit the Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region, known for its spiritual significance and stunning backdrop. After exploring the monastery, descend through rhododendron forests to the village of Deboche.

DAY 07, FRI
Trek from Deboche to Dingboche (14,470 ft.)

Cross the Imja Khola River and ascend through Pangboche village, the highest year-round settlement in the region. The trail offers views of the evolving landscape as trees give way to alpine shrubs. Upon reaching Dingboche, you’ll notice the expansive fields enclosed by stone walls, protecting crops from cold winds and grazing animals.

DAY 08, SAT
Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Undertake a morning hike to Nagarjun Hill (16,730 ft.) for acclimatization. This ascent provides panoramic views of Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Chalotse, Mt. Tawache, and Mt. Ama Dablam.

Return to Dingboche for lunch and spend the afternoon resting or exploring the village.

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (16,110 ft.)

The trail gradually ascends to Dughla (Thukla), where you’ll take a break before a steep climb to the Thukla Pass. Here, you’ll find memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. Continue trekking alongside the Khumbu Glacier’s moraine to reach the small settlement of Lobuche.

DAY 10, MON
Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (16,865 ft.) & Everest Base Camp (17,598 ft.)

Begin with a gradual ascent to Gorak Shep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. After a brief rest and lunch, trek to Everest Base Camp, walking alongside the Khumbu Glacier and navigating glacial moraines. Upon reaching the base camp, soak in the iconic views and the atmosphere of the climbers’ tents during the climbing season. Return to Gorak Shep for the night.

DAY 11, TUE
Trek from Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (18,190 ft.) & Descent to Pheriche (13,910 ft.)

Early morning ascent to Kala Patthar, a renowned vantage point offering panoramic views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, and the surrounding peaks. The climb is steep and challenging due to the high altitude, but the sunrise views are truly rewarding. After spending time at the summit, descend back to Gorak Shep for breakfast. Post-meal, continue the descent to Pheriche, passing through Lobuche and retracing your steps along the Khumbu Glacier’s moraine.

Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (11,285 ft.)

The trail descends through the Imja Khola valley, passing through Pangboche and Tengboche. You’ll revisit the Tengboche Monastery if you wish. The path then continues through rhododendron and juniper forests, with potential wildlife sightings. After crossing the Dudh Koshi River, a final ascent brings you back to Namche Bazaar.

The trail descends steeply, so that trekking poles can be helpful. You’ll cross several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River and pass through villages like Monjo and Phakding. The final leg involves a gentle ascent to Lukla, where the trek concludes.
