The trek begins from the village of Pimpri (Tal. Mulshi, Dist. Pune), the trail takes you through a deep and mysterious forest, providing an enchanting experience. The forest is primarily composed of thick foliage and towering trees that block most of the sunlight, creating a dark and surreal atmosphere. This is what gives the trek its name.

The monsoon season, from June to September, is the best time to visit Andharban. The entire region is covered in lush greenery during this time, and the waterfalls are in full flow. However, trekking during other seasons is also possible, but the landscape might not be as vibrant.

Day-wise Schedule

Day 1
Pune » Pimpri Village » Andharban Jungle Trek » Pimpri » Pune

Depart from Pune by 06:00 hrs.
Meet our representative at your pick-up point. We will then proceed by private vehicle to the starting point of our trek.

Our trek starts & ends at Pimpri village in Mulshi Taluka of Pune District. Have breakfast at a local restaurant.

We start the trek towards the Andharban Forest. You’ll encounter beautiful streams and waterfalls during the trek, making it a refreshing experience. The trail also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and hills. The dense foliage of the forest creates a unique atmosphere, with sunlight filtering through the trees, creating captivating light patterns.

After about 5-6 hours of walking, our trek will end. Enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Return to Pune; filled with memories of our monsoon special adventure trek of Andharban forest.
