This exhilarating journey offers a unique perspective of the K2S trek, combining the serenity of the night with the rugged beauty of the landscape!

The trail from Katraj to Sinhgad encompasses diverse terrain, including rocky paths, and steep inclines. Trekking under the moonlit sky adds a layer of challenge and excitement to the journey, requiring focus and determination as you navigate the darkness.

It starts from Katraj Ghat in the south of Pune and ends at Sinhgad Fort which lies in the southwest direction of Pune—doing the trek through a series of 11+ mountains for a distance of approx. 13 km.; the trek route is ideal for both amateurs and professional trekkers, it challenges your mental and physical capabilities and simultaneously rewards you with unforgettable sceneries of nature.

Witness the city light of Pune city and its surroundings, valleys with different shades of nature while feeling a fresh breeze brushing through your face as you conquer a mountain in front of you and the mountain within you.

Day-wise Schedule

Day 0
Travel from Pune » Katraj Old Tunnel » Overnight K2S Trek

Depart from Pune by 20:00 hrs.
Meet our representative at your meeting point. We will then proceed by public transport (PMPML Bus) to the starting point of our trek. Reach Katraj’s old tunnel. This is our starting point of the trek. Our field experts will provide pre-trek information and instructions to all participants.

The trek begins! The initial climb is a bit steep, but you’ll soon be rewarded with panoramic views of Pune city lights. The first section of the trek is relatively easy with a gradual incline.

Day 1
Kondhanpur Phata » Kondhanpur Village » Travel to Pune

This is a moderate endurance trek. You need to go up & down about 13 hills. The trail may become a little more challenging with steeper inclines and some rocky patches.

After walking for a few hours, you will reach the junction point on the main road of Sinhgad Fort. Descend at Kondhanpur village & board a PMPML bus to Katraj Zoo Park, marking the end of your adventurous K2S trek with a unique twist.

Arrive back in Pune by 09:00 hrs. (approx.)
